For this project I used Cactus Page 3 and Lizard Stickers page. I used the images in the original size printed.

SUPPLIES
One 9" x 9" piece of base fabric (white works well)

One 9" x 9" piece of stabilizer (for machine embroidery and satin stitching around applique pieces)

One 4" x 9" piece of sky fabric

One 7" x 9" piece of ground fabric

1/3 yard fusible web

Scraps for lizard, cactus, rocks, plants, borders, hanging sleeve and binding

Backing piece and batting (or fusible fleece) sized to fit your finished piece (the block above measures 9" x 9" - remember that your block will be larger if you add a border)

Blendable thread for machine or hand embroidery
