Water Block Six is made up of 3 pieces. This block is the first block
of row four. The block consists of water, with one reed passing through it vertically.
The reed continues up into water block 4, so be sure you use the same color. Careful sewing is crucial,
because the reed of this block must match up precisely to the reed in water block 4.

OVERALL LAYOUT Print out a copy of the overall layout so you'll know where each block goes.
There is no pattern for water block 6 because it is too large to fit to one sheet of paper, and can easily be cut without a pattern.
Cut the following pieces:
Cut two pieces of water fabric, each measuring 1.25" wide by 12.5" tall.
Cut one piece of reed fabric, measuring 1" wide by 12.5" tall.
1. Lay out fabric pieces. Sew the three pieces together along the long sides, with the reed between the
two water pieces. Refer to the photo at the top of the page.
