The contents of this book are taken mainly from a document I originally wrote under "Spectrum Accounting", a consulting business specializing in small businesses.
I set up the accounting system, policies and procedures, and taught the business owners and managers how to successfully extract
accurate and timely financial information in order to make sound management decisions.
I hope to accomplish several things with this book. First, I hope to take the mystery out of
running a small business and show that contrary to what you have probably been told, YOU CAN DO IT!

of a great number of them. From home businesses to fancy salons and retail stores, I have seen
the same errors. No one is above the mistakes I will teach you how to avoid in this book.
