"Decoupage Pots"
I Decoupage Terracotta pots, and various other items for sale as presents for every occasion.
I use photographs , wrapping paper , and paper table napkins as some of the pictures I decoupage with; I sometimes do them as 3-D decoupage, which are very popular. I recently did one pot for my hairdresser,
with pictures of hair styles down the ages, which has brought a lot of interest from her clients.

"Broken Dishes" quilt. Submitted by Ellen, 03/06.
This is called Crazy Patchwork. It took me 8/9 months to embroider but 3 days to sew up. Different stitches were involved as well as beads etc. I made it for my daughter.

I'm learning to sew. I made this pillow from fabric I got for Christmas.

I’m a 58 year-old grandpa and I just finished my first ever sewing project!
I used the free baby/lap quilt plans on your website and did it in two days.
I’m pretty proud of it and my wife is very impressed. I learned a lot about accurate
measuring and also the “holy grail” of quilting… accurate quarter-inch seam allowances.
There are a few slight alignment glitches, but when I mention them my wife says I’m too critical
of my own work. I didn’t get fancy with the quilting, just stitched-in-the-ditch.
Actually, the hardest part for me was picking the fabrics… they’re starting to recognize me
at the fabric store!
This was a great first project for me. I’ll be making some for my grandkids! Thank you!

I made the attached box from the plain box pattern. I took a photo of a bunch
of "foil juice pouches" and used that as my graphic.

This is a Japanese shikifuton. It's a mattress for sleeping at night, and can be folded and put in the closet during the day.
In our small house, it helps with allowing an extra room when we need it. I used the Lounge Chair Cushion Cover
pattern to make a sheet for my husband's futon, and only needed to adjust my measurements slightly. The futon measures 78" long, 36" wide
and 3" thick. I had enough left over to piece a matching pillowcase for him too, and will now be making covers for myself and each of our children.
It fits perfectly, my husband says it looks perfect, and it keeps it cleaner now. Thanks to the original pattern designer *, it's great
for a twin size futon!

I used the plain box pattern and PaintShop Pro to add pictures of France to the box. I made
this box for my French teacher. Sarah S. - Oregon 2004
I printed your graphics to card stock to make these Thank You cards.
Thanks!
