conduction, while the reflective mylar resists radiant energy. The energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source. Easy to sew, plus
your finished project can go right into the washer and dryer.
Use for insulating picnic baskets, shoe inserts, pet beds, hot pads, oven mitts, etc.
Heat resistant cloth is scorch proof to 390 degrees (unlike regular cotton fabric, which can burn when in contact with heat).
NOTE: Add a layer of cotton batting to any item that will come into direct contact with heat (such as oven mitt or hot pad).
